Lavender & Lily Floral ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through lavenderandlilyfloral.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose — we're a small Austin floral studio, not a data company.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• Information you give us directly. When you submit an inquiry through one of our booking forms, you're taken to HoneyBook, the third-party platform we use to manage inquiries, proposals, and contracts. Any name, email, phone number, event details, or messages you provide there are collected and stored by HoneyBook on our behalf, governed by HoneyBook's own privacy policy. If you email us directly, we receive and store that correspondence in our email account.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs standard technical information when you visit — things like your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you viewed. This is used only for security and keeping the Site running, never for advertising or tracking you across other sites.

Cookies & tracking

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't run tracking pixels. The one thing our Site stores in your browser is a small, temporary flag (in your browser's session storage) that remembers you've already seen our homepage welcome animation, so it doesn't replay every time you click around — it contains no personal information and clears itself when you close your browser.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry, discuss your event, and provide quotes or proposals
• To plan, coordinate, and deliver floral services you've booked with us
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Site

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-party links

Our Site links out to other places — our Instagram, Google & WeddingWire reviews, press features, and the photographers who captured our real weddings. Once you click through, you're subject to that site's own privacy practices, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to plan your event and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records (for example, tax and accounting purposes), unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing mallory@lavenderandlilyfloral.com. If you'd like to stop receiving communications from us, just let us know and we'll remove you from our contact list.

Children's privacy

Our Site is intended for adults planning weddings and events. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our Site or services change. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
